Is the Red Bull Storm Chase the most extreme sporting contest ever dreamt up? Take the most radical windsurfers from around the world, hold them on standby and then fly them into the path of the 100 year storm! Riders have been on hold and now the RBSC is officially on with competitors currently making their way from all over the globe to the west coast of Ireland. Hot Sails Maui team rider LEON JAMAER is currently on his way from Germany to pitch his skills in the huge wind and waves that one of the biggest storms that I have ever seen in the Atlantic prepares to make land fall, currently with a center of 928 mb which compares to Hurricane Katrina which made landfall with a center of 920 mb. 

We had to send Leon a 3.3m Smack from Maui with Robby Swift and Marcilio Browne, thanks for their help. We will be watching closely and wish all competitors luck in the massive waves.
