Red Bull Storm Chase: Ireland is tough

Judges of the Irish stop of the Red Bull Storm Chase decided that there is no winner in the land of the Guinness beer, but it was Thomas Traversa who scored the highest overall of the day.

"It's either more than 60-knots, or the wind is so much denser it feels much stronger. It was scariest walking down the beach!", expressed Robby Swift.

Heats were very tight and only a few lulls let sailors rest. Escaping huge close-out waves, beatiful aerials, backloops, failed 360 degrees moves and helicopter mode shots.

The Red Bull Storm Chase in Ireland grew nerves in all sailors, in the minutes prior to the kick-off. There were waves hitting the over-mast level.

The big wave windsurfing event was held between "Dumps" and "Hell's Gate". Winds were very strong and blowing at 50 knots.
