Winter Training in Cape Town – Update 1

It has been a great first week in Cape Town for some winter training and my 4.0 Rock has been getting put through its paces and I am loving it! It’s been really controllable in the crazy wind here.

Also my Starboard Kode wave 72 had some miles on the clock with some awesome jumping conditions, I managed to pull a few moves I didn’t think I had in the bag! The board is fast and brilliant on turns and cut backs in the turbulent waters of Cape Town.  Looks like we have some bigger swell next week so I’ll keep you posted whoop!! I just hope my hands can take the abuse as they are sporting a few war wounds already!

Here are a few shots taken by Max Rowe who is also out in Cape Town training (thanks for taken some time out to get these!).
