OVERVIEW: The Calema Midwinters Festival will continue its tradition of bringing together World Cup Pros, Olympic Class Competitors, Beginner sailors and all other levels in between. We will have classes for all skill levels and type of equipment – A Fleet / Sport Fleet // and Youth and Juniors classes to choose from along with Masters. Whether you like racing a formula, long, hybrid or short board, we have a class for you.

27th Calema Midwinters Windsurfing Festival including the

2013 Techno 293 North Americans Championships & the

2013 Kona National Championships

Merritt Island, Florida, USA 28th February 2013 to 3rd March 2013

An International Windsurfing Association Sanctioned Event

1. EVENT

1.2 The 2013 Calema Midwinters Windsurfing Festival includes racing in – Formula, Kona, Techno, RSX, Longboard, and Sport Fleets – from Thursday, 28th February to Sunday 3rd March 2013. The event includes the Techno 293 North American Championships and the Kona National Championships.

1.3 For the Techno North Americans – sailors from any nation may enter the event, however, only sailors eligible to compete for North American and Caribbean nation (including Mexico) are able to win the North American Title. ISAF Nationality Criteria apply.

1.4 For the Kona Nationals – sailors from any nation may enter the event, however, only sailors eligible to compete for the US are able to win the National Title. ISAF Nationality Criteria apply.

2. ORGANIZER

2.1 The Championships will be organized by Calema Windsurfing for and on behalf of, and under specified conditions laid down by, the International Windsurfing Association in cooperation with the International Techno 293 Class Association and the Kona International Association.

2.2 This event is organized in conjunction with the US T293 Class Association, the US Kona Association, and under the authority of US Sailing.
