I know this was not the plan, but sometimes plans have to change because of unexpected things.

I’m U18 PWA Freestyle World Champ for the second time now and 2nd on the European Freestyle Tour at the moment and there are 2 more events this year, but sadly I won’t be able to attend.

Last Monday I had done a surgery on my foot.  I have had a big bump on my foot for a year now -  other freestyle windsurfers have it too. These bumps are caused by extreme pressure between the footstrap and the front foot while doing super twisted moves.

So I got to the hospital at 10:00am and was finished at 7:00pm. It took a while for me to get back from the needle they put in my back. They made my legs feel completely numb for a couple of hours! I’m scared that I won’t be able to windsurf for 4 to 6 weeks. I don’t think I’ve ever done that yet since I started windsurfing! How will I survive this?
