“The conditions were incredible. For the courses they couldn’t have been better because it wasn’t just big waves. We had everything, from 55 knots of wind and mast high swells, to ripping up knee high waves on SUPs. And it’s by being constantly confronted by different challenges that people improve.”

“The new Rocks were a big hit. One bloke, Steve Mather from Yorkshire who had just bought a set was gobsmacked “they feel SO light in the hands” he said. I’ve used them a lot over the year and was surprised at the extent of the tuning range. Every size worked but I found my favourite combos to be the 92 Quad with the 5.7 Rock and the 82 Kode and the 5.2. The new Kodes are really special. Using it as a twinser, you have all that speed and edge control of a classic single fin but with the extra snap of a Quad.”
