While on a whistle stop tour through Europe, Hot Sails Maui owner Jeffrey Henderson visited his past intern Jip Philippe in the Netherlands. Jip and his girlfriend Inge have opened Pro-Intro Windsurf School and are teaching groups of kids to windsurf on a huge fleet of F2 boards with MicroFreaksails and rigs.
Jip who graduated after returning from his internship on Maui is now a teacher and runs the windsurf school on the side. The children ride their bikes from school to a local lake where they take the introductory windsurf course for a reasonable 15€ each.
This day the weather cloudy and it was about 13 degrees but the kids had no problem stopping down and putting on wetsuits and giving windsurfing a try.
Hot Sails Maui is a proud supplier to this project and we look forward to working with them more in the future.
"It's about kids, and it is about time"
