We've just finished the first week of our annual September sessions in Marsa Alam, on the East coast of Egypt.
With 7 out of 7 days decent planning winds we've used sails from 4.7-8m, but were mostly blasting on 5-7m weather.
With easy rolling swell on the outside and a flat water gybertorium on the inside, everyone worked extremely hard on all the Windwise skills making great progress improving consistency and making many 'yeeee ha' firsts! It was a hard fought contest for Best Improver, with Moira, David and Oliver making the podium!
It's always great to see everyone blasting, going for their own moves, gybes and making the very best of these great conditions and all the on and off water coaching sessions. By the end of the week, everyone was sad to leave and wished the next group decent wind too! As ever, our hosts at CM were amazing and special thanks should go to the lads who insist on carry your kit to and from the beach for you, full service with a genuine smile!
So a huge thank you from me to everyone for making it such a wonderful trip on and off the water. It was really great bunch of people and thanks for all your support, effort, sweat, perseverance and enthusiasm!
So until next time, sheet in, look, lean and lever that rig through those gybes! See you very soon I hope...
Talking of next time....we're set to return to Marsa Alam in March 2013, places are already booking up, so let us know if you want to reserve a place...
