We are seeing a growing trend of high quality wave riding tours around the world, the AWT, the BWA etc. and we are pleased to promote the Latvian Waveriding Championships 2012. Hot Sails Maui team rider Krish has dominated in recent years and together with our Latvian importer Burusportshe is promoting the event for this year to see if he can encourage more international participation.

Roadex Wave - Latvian Wave Riding Championship 2012

When a normal person shuts all doors and windows, a Wave Rider Takes his equipment and goes in the water to step forward to the storm. In one of the windiest days of September or October when forecast will show at the least 10m/s Latvian wave riding championship 'Roadex Wave' will be held. 

Competition day will be chosen from Wednesday to Sunday, and announced two days before. The event is going to happen in Liepaja's 'Palmbeach'. In this spot the waves are coming close to the coast so it's going to be Easier for judges and spectator to see performance of riders. As an alternative spot for 'Roadex Wave' is Pavilosta beach.

During and after the event all pictures, videos, comments and publications will be available there. Pictures and videos will be taken from the coast and as well from the water so it is a great opportunity to get some good exposure. Not only our neighbors from Lithuania and Estonia, but also world-class wave riders from other countries are invited to this event for the first time. It will improve level of Latvia's Windsurfer's skills and level of this championship. 

The organizers, give thanks to supporters and for the first time offers cash prizes - €600. It's a good motivation for the sailors and compete.
