No horses shouldn't be eaten - or turned into glue, although the one I was on would probably have kept a family in meat (and glue) for at least a year! And come to think of it, you would have been able to a make a mattress out of the horse hair! Spent half an hour trying to get the knots out of the tail, only for my sis to come along and decided to trim the tail, so cut off the bottom couple of inches - if I'd known in advance, would have saved me at least 20 minutes!
