Who's skipping work and going windsurfing Tuesday?

It look like a goodun with 20mph+ SW forecast.

The long term forecast is promising good winds for the start of next week too. Take a lok at the chart for next Monday

I've got to be in Pompy on Wednesday. So I'm going to work tomorrow for a few hours then going to Hayling for the afternoon to stay over with a mate (Dave) in Southsea. High tide is ~4pm. It looks a solid 6 which will be 5m or 4.7 even. Wish me luck! Is anyone who looks at this site going to be there? I'll be on my own.

I got on the sea about 3pm. It was very knarly. I rigged 5-2 after the bloke in the posh VW van next to me said it was droppin and he was on 4-7. Got out fine first time. Came in and a quick rest... then got stuffed in the shore dump... fell over ouch sharp stones! Struggled to get out next.

Nice and lumpy surf and my gybing was OK if a little tough in the waves.

Worth the effort. Lots of people were arriving at 5:30 the wind was dropping a lot however. I packed up at just B4 6.

Did you get much wind at Brog?

There was not a lot all day but from about 2-6 it blew really well. I was out on my 87 with a 6.5.

Sunday looks like a trip to Weymouth for me as a sw5-6 is forecast. I just hope it holds.
