John is recovering well from the op and has been forced to get out of bed today. If all goes well the hospital will chuck him out in a couple of days before he gets mrsa.

It'll the be loads of physio and John ignoring medical advice over the coming weeks so hopefully he will rejoin the racing before the end of the season.

I was sorry to read this today. I do hope John gets well soon. Such a fall could dent his confidence, we all now have to participate in encouraging him to return to where he left off. i.e. back to full health, back on the water and back on his MTB!

It was nice to see John at the lake today, well that was until he dropped his slacks to show us his bruise.

He's looking cheerful and hobbling around well on his crutches. He even wanted to join in the croquet until we persuaded him otherwise.
