I have downloaded a satellite image of the Brogborough area and calibrated it in GPSAR / GPSAR Pro and GPSResults. If anyone would like the files, they are available here:

The way I did it was by driving around the lake and then using that GPS track as a reference (i.e. by matching the track up with the roads).

It seems to work perfectly with my own GPS sessions and one that Tim gave me from last weekend.

Hmmm maybe I'm missing something....

My GPS tracks are very predictable...

Sail out...

Lots of sailing up and down

Sail back...

Without having the map loaded into my GPS I can usually find the club house....

So is Mike planning to extend the Thursday night series in beyond light evenings ?

Enlighten me... :-)

baz
