Loftsails Team Rider / Interview / Curro Manchon / ESP-1

I have been passionate about windsurfing since a very young age. It started as a hobby and then it was a way of life. I studied at the University of Seville and after a few years of hard work I finally graduated in Architecture and engineering of construction. I founded Sailing for Gold, which is a specialized company in windsurfing accessories. I also worked as a professional coach involved in the Olympics campaigns of athletes as Blanca Manchón and Tuuli Petaja Nowadays I work as an architect and I am the manager of Living Sevilla ( business of rental apartments ) but I am still organizing training programs for individual sailors and Olympic sailor groups from all over the world. Loftsails Team Rider / Interview / Deivis Paternina / V-04

I started windsurfing when I was 12, in el Yaque, Venezuela, where I’m still living and windsurfing every single day I am lucky to live at the one of the most popular spots of the world, this is where I started, watching famous guys like Gollito, Diony and Yoli training. That caught my attention so much that couldn’t stop training myself to complete my dream – Pro Windsurfer career. I’m on my way and not planning to stop! My goals are to become world champion and train hard to be in the top (5) in the PWA, raise my level to the maximum and one day be on the podium proudly representing my country and sponsors! Loftsails Team Rider / Interview / Fernando Martínez del Cerro / ESP-71

Back in 1996 I meet Monty at El Puerto de Santa María while we where training on Raceboard gear with Levante. Monty was actually trying to escape from the strong levante to sail his sail boat but ended sailing slalom gear with us. After the training we talk and he left 3 raceboard sails with me to test. Yes that was back in 1996, I sent to him my test reports and used the sails at Raceboard Worlds Championships 1997 in Dunkerque, France, where I manage to take the first place of the heavy fleet. Later that year Monty decided that it was the time to start his own brand and Loftsails was Born. Find out more about Fernando at https://www.loftsails.com/team/59a8036097b7a328cb7cb7f2

Loftsails Team Rider / Interview / Diony Guadagnino / V69

My mother is a Southern Californian & my father is Argentinean. At the age of 10 months my parents moved to a tiny West Indian Island called Bequia, part of the St. Vincent and the grenadines chain. At the age of 8, my mother decided to move further on to the South American Caribbean Island known as “Isla Margarita” (Venezuela). I grew up in “Playa El Yaque”, a world known windsurfing destination. I would say El Yaque was where I was born into windsurfing. I spend most of my time on Margarita and Maui for waves & all around sailing. I am really happy to have such a life working together with Mother Nature. I’ve been privileged to learn different languages, cultures and people around the world. Find out more about Diony at https://www.loftsails.com/team/59a6ba9b97b7a36da2669b42

I’m happy to be part of this great Loft Sails team and looking forward to start the PWA Tour. After working more than 7 years in the Windsurfing Industry it’s exciting to start working with Monty Spindler using my acquired knowledge in R&D to develop new products that make this sport better and easier for everybody. Find out more about Ramon at https://www.loftsails.com/team/59a8052997b7a32b2b7de914 ---------------------------------------------- Serena Zoia ITA-17 : Italian living in Tarifa since 2011, after a radical lifestyle change. Since then I discovered windsurfing in waves. Here in Tarifa I hit the water every time I can and enjoy every moment.
