Windfoil race dedication: 7 battens, 4 cams, two sizes - 8.9 and 9.4. The Skyblade contrasts with the Racingblade in one important way: downforce. Greater downforce allows better control of foil lift.

For 2019 Werner has developed the dedicated Foil shapes with great input from Keahi. The boards are short for reduced swing weight during pumping and maneuvers. The extremely beveled rails help reduce the wetted surface at take-off and prevent the board from catching the water in the turns. The cut-out tail section on the bottom surface has the same purpose. The flat deck ensures stability. The pad features an increased arch line along the center so that you can feel the center of the board without even looking down. The pad tail kick is positioned perfectly for optimized foiling stance. The boards come with 2 foot-straps and foot-strap plugs.
The 2 track boxes for the plate mounted foils have a generous length of 33cm so you can also use the board for light wind windsurf foiling at the back position.

“THE MAIN DIFFERENCE THE S_TYPE SL HAS WHEN
COMPARED TO THE WARP 20.19 IS THAT IT LOSES SPEED
AS SOON AS YOU SHEET OUT. THIS MAKES GYBING
CONSIDERABLY EASIER, ESPECIALLY FOR NONPROFESSIONALS.” MARCO LANG
International press outlets have repeatedly rated the S_TYPE as the best of its class.
As a highly competitive slalom sail designed for everyday sailors, it has an unquenchable
thirst for speed, but is nonetheless easy to handle. One of the reasons for this is
that the S_TYPE SL has inherited the racing DNA of the WARP to guarantee maximum
performance potential. At the same time, the S_TYPE SL’s handling is extraordinarily
simple for its class. This is made possible by the revolutionary NO COMPROMISE DESIGN, which was adapted from the WARP 20.19. A reduced profile, loose leech and luff curve all improve performance in the lower end of the wind range and thus boost acceleration.
The S_TYPE SL in the NO COMPROMISE DESIGN is the perfect
synthesis from the most successful race slalom sails in our
company’s history. Whether you’re racing along at maximum
speed or casually cruising and gybing, the S_TYPE SL boasts
extreme versatility. Kai Hopf combines the balanced handling
and comfort of the S_TYPE SL with the top-end performance
of a WARP. The result is an outstanding level of power on all
courses and superior control to boot. Particularly noticeable
is the highly tapered luff sleeve in the AERO SLEEVE DESIGN
2.0. Its width in the aerodynamically important boom area
enables the optimal transition from the “thick” mast leading
edge to the “thin” sail body. However, at the top of the sail the
luff sleeve has remained relatively narrow to enable fast onwater
starts. This is supported by the LUFF LIFT DESIGN of
the WARP 20.19, which provides additional lift. The S_TYPE SL
is incredibly useful as a high-performance sail for various
board types because it can be sailed with either two or three
cambers (removable foot camber). Simply genius! All S_TYPE
SL sizes perform reliably well with just one mast length.

“THE F_TYPE SAIL MAKES IT SO MUCH EASIER TO LEARN TO FOIL SURF. I ONLY WISH I HAD HAD SOMETHING LIKE THIS MYSELF BACK IN THE DAY. ON TOP IT'S THE IDEAL COMPANION FOR SUP-FOILING, THE LATEST TREND ON MAUI WHEN WE JUST TRY TO GET ONTO THE FOIL AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE WITH THE SUP.” S K Y S O L B A C H.
The latest trend is in foil surfing, which opens up a whole
range of possibilities. Never before has it been possible
to set into motion or ride the waves this quickly with so
little wind. To get you started as quickly and as easily as
possible, and to make sure the fun never ends while on
the water, DUOTONE has introduced the new F_TYPE –
the ideal sail for silently hovering over the water.
Foil surfing is absolutely amazing because you feel almost
weightless and literally floating above everything – and all this
at winds at which you would never previously have even
thought about surfing. To enjoy foil surfing the easy and smart
way, DUOTONE has developed a highly specialised sail in the
form of the four-batten F_TYPE. Its features are designed
exactly for this new activity and will be a boon helpful both for
intermediate riders and for relaxed wave riders. This includes
the lower profile with reduced loose leech, since very small
sail sizes are used based on the wind strengths. Thanks to
its high elasticity, the Dacron luff ensures easier pumping
and an altogether more gentle feel. Because the rig is held
more upright when foil surfing, the foot has significantly more
reach in order to ensure closing the gap even in this position.
Low wind pressure necessitates the use of two SOFT.CAMS,
which can effortlessly reverse when shifting despite weak
rotational forces. And it you want it to be even easier, you can
even remove both cambers and use the F_TYPE as the ultimate
no-cam foil sail.

“THE WARP 20.19 SLALOM SAIL IS QUICKER TO SET UP,
SAVES MORE ENERGY AND IS YET MORE COMPETITIVE THAN
ANY OTHER THAT I’VE EVER SAILED BEFORE!”
P I E R R E M O R T E F O N
The WARP 9.0LW won six of the seven eliminations in the 2015 racing season, making it
the most successful slalom sail in PWA history. It was our first racing sail with a completely
new, revolutionary profile concept called the NO COMPROMISE DESIGN. With extreme
propulsion, boundless speed and a design intended for victory with no compromises,
this is quite simply the ultimate World Cup racing sail. Thanks to the NO COMPROMISE
DESIGN, the WARP 20.19 also possesses greater planing power and acceleration after
start and gybe compared to other sails, without requiring more strength on the part of the
rider. This gives riders greater strength reserves over the entire racecourse and allows
them to concentrate on manoeuvring and tactics. Combined with the unrivalled effortless
camber rotation, this makes the WARP 20.19 the first choice for more than just World
Cup riders.
More than three years of development went into the profile and
design concept of the WARP 20.19, whose panel-based layout
takes into account the wide range of factors influencing the rig.
And the result is outstanding – with the NO COMPROMISE
DESIGN, all WARP sails generate enormous propulsion and
more acceleration at the start and after a gybe. The key characteristic
is that this propulsion does not kick in abruptly and
thus does not require lots of effort to absorb. Instead, the forward
pull is much more controlled and effortless than other
power slalom sails. This relieves strain on the rider, giving them
strength reserves for the rest of the course, and allowing them
to concentrate fully on the racing action. And with the correct
luff and outhaul tension, the WARP performs across the entire
wind range with the same trim.
PREVIOUS DOWNSIDES
Maximum propulsion and top acceleration after gybing has
had considerable downsides in the past:
++ a. Extreme effort
When “only” the foot profile is increased lower without adapting
the loose leech and luff curve. Lots of luff curvature,
reduced top profile and enormous loose leech require lots
of strength because the propulsion starts all at once after
a brief delay.
++ b. Reduced stability, lower wind range
When the profile is more full and the luff curve is reduced.
The lower curve releases tension from the luff, which has a
negative impact on stability and range of use.
ADVANTAGES BY NO COMPROMISE DESIGN
++ Step 1:
More profile in the entire sail, which provides a power boost
when accelerating.
++ Step 2:
Reduction of the luff curve, thus reducing the sail tension
and loose leech. This provides constant, powerful propulsion
and more gentle, progressive handling forces.
++ Step 3:
In order to maintain stability and wind range, the double-foil
luff sleeve for the first time consists entirely of low-stretch
XPLY PLUS and a non-stretch Kevlar strip on the leading
edge. This prevents excessive bending towards the trailing
edge while maintaining the same side flex. As a result, the
wide range of use is maintained along with perfect sail
stability. The draft position towards the front with reduced
loose leech transfers power to the lower end of the wind
range and gives a boost to heavier riders.
IMPORTANT
World Cup-level success, 100% performance and the nonstretch
design require a perfect set-up and experienced
trimming. All WARP sails generate maximum propulsion only
with PLATINUM masts and millimetre-precision trimming.
As a result, the use of a POWER.XT is absolutely essential.

DEAR WINDSURFER
“The Original windsurfer class was where it all started back in 1967.
There is an unparalleled amount of global engagement and connection with this class, created by Diane and Hoyle Schweitzer with a board concept developed by Jim Drake.
Bruce Wylie, who entered the Windsurfing event in Santa Barbara while I sailed in the Olympics on the more “sophisticated “ Winglider, has redesigned the Windsurfer and it’s now a wonderful allround board suited also for heavier people.
The board is stable, glides particularly nice in light winds and shoots into planing mode with ease.
With its daggerboard it goes upwind really well. Tilt it a bit backwards and it can be handled in high-wind upwind.
It freestyles with excellence and rail-rides are hereby back in trend.
I really enjoy sailing this board and see it as a way to get clubs around the world introducing a board which works for entry level sailing, with the plastic daggerboard, and club racing with the composite daggerboard.
Back in the days, the main campaign for the windsurfer was “DO IT STANDING UP” and this board even is good at stand up paddling.”

UNI.XT – the most technically advanced and yet the most lightweight standard aluminium extension we have ever built. Now also built using AERO carbon technology to create the most lightweight extension in the world.
When it comes to standard extensions, everyone has probably
experienced some nasty surprises at some point. They rarely fit with the rope alignment on the sail, most of them need high downhaul forces, and often the mechanism for adjusting the height is extremely fiddly. Before designing the UNI.XT we analysed all of these issues in detail and came up with workable solutions. The strong and super-solid UNI.XT extension may look like numerous other standard extensions at first glance, yet it is replete with innovations which make it a far superior product.

An inspiring (r)evolution – the POWER.XT 2.0 can do much more and do it better than the previous model. And as POWER.XT 2.0 AERO RDM 34 it is also the most lightweight ratchet extension of all time!
Beyond the basic idea, the POWER.XT 2.0 has almost nothing
in common with the previous model any more. From the extremely
solid ratchet mechanism plus lever to the simplified release mechanism, the high-strength Lyros® Dyneema rope harness downhaul lines and the option to retrofit the damper function – everything has been radically upgraded.
For many years, the POWER.XT has been the benchmark when it comes to extensions with trimming tools. Those who use it will never want to do without it again. Thanks to the integrated lever, it overcomes even the highest downhaul forces, enabling perfect re-trimming or fine-tuning even when on the water. Even children could handle the extreme luff tension of modern slalom sails, each profile can be adjusted to millimetre precision in a matter of seconds. The 15 cm long lever and the ratio of 1:60 enable trimming without any noticeable effort.
