“We have opened Norway’s first surfing center ever! 

On stunningly beautiful Canvas Hove in Arendal, Miriam Rasmussen will run her clinics from early May to late October each year. Next to the brand new glamping-site, Canvas Hove, we have perfect conditions for all types of watersports. On one side you have the beach and calm waters, and just around the corner, there are waves and open ocean. 

In charge of the activity center, we will have Miriam Rasmussen, one of Norway’s best windsurfers. This is what she says about the new adventure on Canvas Hove: “I couldn’t be happier and more optimistic. All I want is to live for windsurfing and from windsurfing, and I´m starting to think that this is actually happening right now.” 

In collaboration with Arendal’s Sailing Association and Canvas Hove, she has 30 surfboards, 40 complete rigs, 30 SUP boards, 2 Hobiecat trimarans and catamarans and 8 glass bottom canoes that you can rent!
