After many years the World Cup returned to Japan. Despite the country of the rising sun is known for stormy winds and extreme conditions, the race course only saw gentle breezes, only allowing for one slalom elimination where only Esther de Geus NED-16 did well (see report).
On all the other days when the light wind stayed below 10 knots, the organization held foiling exhibitions where the JP team was extremely successful with 5 riders finishing in the top-10!
Sebastian Kornum DEN-24 even managed to stay super close behind the winner in second position. He showed excellent speed on the downwind tracks and superb jibing skills!
Well done and congratulations!
