The Slalom event of the Fuerteventura PWA Grand Slam was not an easy one. 8 days of howling winds  – frequently above 40 knots – made sure the competitors had a hard time to follow the course.

Fanatic´s Pierre Mortefon had quite an unlucky start but was fighting back into third place! Pierre still holds control of the 2016 title race after completing the podium. The Frenchman showed the level of consistency required to challenge for the top and he remains the man everyone has to catch. Well done Pierro!
