At ” Praia do Maceio’ ” nearby Camocim, Brazil a freestyle/wave competition will be held on November 28 and 29. Some of world best international riders will compete in the freestyle wave conditions to win the first title of King of Maceio’. It will be interesting to see what’s possible in steady wind conditions and steep waves. We can excpect a firework of freestyle airmoves like double Culos, Air Skopus, Air Chachos, no handede Burners, Loop variations or Air Kabikuchis. Amado Vrieswijk, Davy Scheffers, Julien Mas, Gigi Madeddu, Rossel Bertoldo, Mattia Fabrizi, Giovanni Passani, Gianluca Tamantini, Matteo Piras or local Hugo de Sousa will give it all. Praia de Maceio is a wide sandy beach located 10 kilometers in eastern direction from Camocim in the state of Ceara, Brazil and offers great windsurfing conditions to practice jumps. Steep waves are breaking over a sandbank. There is quite good infrastructure at the spot already and a lot of space on the water.
