After a mid-season dropout due to a knee injury last year and the loss of his board sponsor JP, the Bonairian freestyle windsurfer Youp Schmit is back again, 100% fit and with a new board sponsor 99NoveNove. Youp: “I’ve been doing really good, my knee is doing very well as well. After 8months of rehab and training I am really feeling fit and strong and ready to hit the water at high proformance freestyle level again. Also a new board being under my feet I feel like its a new fresh start to the season. I like the feeling the board gives under my feet, I just love the pop of those babies.”
