The wind didn't really come through as we'd hoped but it was enough for Karo Van Tonder to set a NEW African National record and a few others to set PB's! The wind is going on Holiday for a few days Now but looks like when it comes back it will be at FULL force!

It started off awesome today and it was looking like some guys might be joining the 50knot club.... but as the afternoon went on the wind backed off!! So here's a bit of an action montage to give you an idea. We don't have any official speeds yet sorry... but top guys were in the higher 40's!

It's not as simple as just going straight... certain parts of the course have big holes and Big Gusts!! This was a run near the end of the day when the wind was down a bit. I was using a 40 wide Speed Board and 5.4m sail

We have just turned up to the Luderitz Speed Challenge and it's ON!!! 35knots... not record breaking conditions but a great day to get warmed up and test out the channel and gear!!
