Dithmarscher Towin GFB - Surffestival 2018

What s in the back of my truck in Hawaii? | Ricardo Campello

Windsurfing is an easily-accessible sport - To get started, you will need a board and a rig, which is made up of a sail, mast, mast base and a boom. Windsurf boards and sails come in a variety of shapes and sizes and the rider's weight will influence your choice. If you are new to the sport it's best to use a small sail and a board that is wide and buoyant - this will give you the confidence and stability to master the basic techniques. As you progress you can move onto a smaller board, larger sails, and using a harness and footstraps. Are you interested in seeing what Ricardo uses during his stay in Hawaii? Have a look at what he brings to the beach on his Toyota Tacoma! I am a Brazilian born professional windsurfer. I moved to Venezuela when I was a child and began professional windsurfer. My passion drove me to become three-time world freestyle champion in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
