After a tough weekend of competition i’m happy to say I came out on top winning the event and taking the British Wavesailing title for 2012.

The event was held at Gwithian beach with the wind coming from a the slightly unusual NE direction which happens pick up a lot of wind swell pretty quickly. This produced really fun head to logo sets and starboard tack conditions. Fellow team mate Phil Horrocks had been leading the tour with some good results and was unlucky to drop to 2nd overall at the final hurdle.

The win and taking the title feels like the perfect end to the year, needless to say i’m pretty chuffed and looking forward to next year
